Guide to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival 2026 🌷
The tulips are blooming early this year — and that's a good thing! Thanks to an unseasonably warm and dry winter, the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival kicked off last week, making 2026 one of the earliest blooms in a decade. The fields are expected to be colorful for a full month, so there's plenty of time to make a trip up. Skagit County is less than two hours north of Seattle — here's your guide to everything happening.
Tickets for all four farms are available at tulipfestival.org/garden-tickets and you check out the latest bloom status here!

A Few Tips Before You Go
Wear layers. Spring weather in Skagit Valley is unpredictable — bring gloves and rain gear. It can be muddy! If you don't have tall rain boots, plastic shoe covers work great.
Check each farm's pet policy before you go — they vary! (Summary above.)
Arrive early on weekends to beat the crowds and snag parking.
