Last-Minute Summer Camps in Seattle: 14 Options Still Open for 2026

It happens every year. You blink, and it’s mid-May, and somehow summer is six weeks away and you have no camp plan.

If that’s you right now, you’re in good company — and you’re not out of options. I’ve been tracking down camps across Northeast Seattle and the surrounding neighborhoods that still have spots (or are about to open registration), and I put them all in one place so you don’t have to do the legwork yourself.

One honest note before you dive in: spots at several of these are moving, and availability changes fast. Click through to check current openings before you get your heart set on anything. A waitlist isn’t the end of the world, but it’s better to know upfront.

Here’s what I found, starting closest to home. I will also update this list as I learn about more options!

Sessions run June 29–August 21 at parks around NE Seattle — including View Ridge Park (July 27–Aug 7 and Aug 10–21) and Maple Leaf Park (Aug 3–14).

Morning, afternoon, or full-day options; if your kid is registered for both morning and afternoon, the lunch hour is included at no extra charge. Extended care available before and after camp.

Most camps are ages 5–12, with some sessions for teens and tweens. $140–$320 depending on session length and theme — one of the more flexible price points on this list. Check availability and register at squirrellyworkshop.com.
